PHOTOGRAPHY

I’m a photographer originally from Latvia, and I’ve been living in the UK for more than 15 years. Photography has been part of my life for over 20 years, with a strong focus on portraits and people.

I’m based in Bristol, but I love travelling, especially around the UK, exploring new places and spending time in nature. Quite often, my photography starts with something very simple — a walk, a conversation and a camera.

I enjoy photographing people in natural surroundings rather than creating overly staged or complicated setups. For me, the best photographs often happen when you simply walk around with a model, have a chat, explore the location and let things happen naturally. I’m interested in capturing personality, mood and those little moments that feel real.

Photography is a hobby for me alongside my work in IT. In a way, I really like keeping it that way. Because photography isn’t my full-time job, I have the freedom to photograph what I enjoy and experiment without feeling that every picture has to be commercially perfect.

For me, photography is about people, places, conversations and the feeling of a moment. I’m always happy to travel, explore somewhere new and see what we can create together.
